PURPOSE: A system and a method for a presentation using a touch panel device are provided to perform the presentation conveniently and effectively without remembering the information to be directly written/added to a manuscript, and perform a bidirectional communication between a presenter and a viewer conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A wire/wireless interface(101) communicates data with an external device or the Internet/intranet. A data receiver(102) receives the data through the wire/wireless interface. A data storage(103) stores the received data, link information, drivers, presentation data, and programs. A touch panel(105) is equipped with a tool displaying the data and the tool for selecting the displayed data. A presentation data searcher(106) finds out the matched presentation data by searching the data according to the information of the selected data. A presentation data transmitter(107) transmits the presentation data to the external device or the Internet/intranet. The program selects a presentation part of the manuscript data by displaying the manuscript data on the touch panel, links the presentation part with the presentation data, and stores the link information to the data storage.
