PURPOSE: A brake pedal assembly of a vehicle is provided to improve the braking performance of a pedal by generating hydraulic pressure to the pedal during braking operation and properly changing the pedal ratio of the pedal to the hydraulic pressure. CONSTITUTION: A brake pedal assembly of a vehicle is composed of a pedal(56) of which the upper end is movably combined to a supporting bracket(54) fixed to a vehicle body to receive pedal efforts for braking; a booster(58) for doubling the pedal effort of the pedal and transmitting the doubled pedal effort to a master cylinder(60); a push rod(62) disposed between the booster and the pedal and connected to the booster to transmit the pedal effort of the pedal to the booster; a hydraulic pressure generating device(64) installed to the side of the pedal to generate hydraulic pressure to the pedal effort of the pedal; and a pedal ratio regulating device(66) mounted between the push rod and the pedal to regulate the pedal ratio of the pedal to the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic pressure generating device. The hydraulic pressure generating device is a piston pump movably connected to the side of the lever to generate the hydraulic pressure in proportion to the pedal effort applied on the lever.
