AUTOMATIC POWER SWITCHING DEVICE BETWEEN LAUNCH VEHICLE AND SATELLITE

PURPOSE: An automatic power switching device between a launch vehicle and a satellite is provided to minimize the power consumption of a satellite battery by maximally using power supplied from the launch vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An automatic power switching device is composed of a regulator(2) for switching power supplied from a power supplier(1) in a launch vehicle into constant voltage, an unlatching relay(8) operated by the output of the regulator and supplying the power of the power supplier to an electric unit(13) in a satellite, a comparator(5) for measuring the level of voltage supplied to the power supplier, and a latching relay(10). The latching relay supplies the power of a satellite battery(12) to the electric unit when the measured voltage is less than reference voltage.
