MICROCHANNEL HEAT EXCHANGER WITH VARIOUS FIN GAPS

PURPOSE: A microchannel heat exchanger with various fin gaps is provided to smoothly discharge condensed water running down from an upper part of a refrigerant tube, and reduce loss of an air pressure and prevent reduction of heat transfer. CONSTITUTION: Horizontal headers have hollows for moving a refrigerant. A plurality of vertical refrigerant tubes(3) are inserted into the horizontal headers to distribute the refrigerant moving in the headers. A plurality of fins(6) are attached between the refrigerant tubes, wherein gaps of the fins are unequal to prevent condensed water(7) formed on surfaces of the fins from collecting only in a lower fin. The gaps of the fins attached to the lower header are wider than the gaps of the fins attached to the upper header.
