PURPOSE: A message overload control method of an exchange is provided to control overload generated by a message outputted from an exchange to an operator terminal. CONSTITUTION: An operator previously determines a method of controlling a message outputted from an exchange to an operator terminal in order to control message overload through an operator terminal. When a message is to be outputted from a system to the operator terminal, it is sensed, the pre-set output message control method is checked, and output of the message is controlled according to the output message control method.
