PURPOSE: An apparatus for polishing an end fitting is provided to improve the quality of work and reduce exposure dose of radioactivity by controlling remotely an end fitting polishing work. CONSTITUTION: A fixing unit includes a housing tube coupled to an end fitting(400), a chuck assembly(110) for fixing the end fitting, and a combination part formed at an opposite side to the chuck assembly. A driving unit includes a housing(200) having a boss plate(300), a main shaft(230) rotated within the housing, a polishing device(340) for polishing the end fitting, an illumination measurement device(270) for measuring the intensity of illumination, a length measurement device(280) for measuring the polishing length, a transferring device(330) for transferring the main shaft, a driving source for providing the driving force to the main shaft, and a power transmission device for transmitting the power of the driving source. A control unit controls the driving source, the illumination measurement device, the length measurement device, and the transferring device of the driving unit.
