DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ONLINE SETTLEMENT USING NETWORK PORT INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A device and a method for online settlement using the network port information are provided to offer a more safe and convenient settlement service by performing an online settlement process through the constructed network port information. CONSTITUTION: An Internet address extractor(31) extracts an IP(Internet Protocol) address assigned to a user when the online settlement process is requested. An NAS(Network Access System) controller(32) confirms a DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer)(21) connecting to a user terminal(10) requesting the settlement process based on a confirmed connection setting status by confirming a position of an NAS(22) managing the extracted IP address and confirming the current connection setting status through the access to the NAS. A DSLAM controller(33) confirms the port information of the DSLAM for the current connection by accessing the DSLAM confirmed at the NAS controller. A billing tool(34) processes a bill by confirming a user based on the port information of the DSLAM.
