PURPOSE: A midsole of a shoe is provided to allow a foot sole to be in a stable posture by constructing the region, where the cannon bone of a great toe is to be placed on the top surface of the midsole, to be slightly lowered to an extent that the sesamoid bone can be depressed. CONSTITUTION: On the top surface of a midsole(1) of a shoe made of synthetic resin (like pylon) molded in a conventional casting manner, the region where the cannon bone of a great toe is to be placed is constructed to be in a slightly (about 2mm) depressed state(2). By wearing the shoe with the midsole(1) attached thereto, the pair of sesamoid bones are properly depressed to free itself from an excessive burden, and the foot sole is capable of being in a stable posture.
