PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling the Internet image/sound output are provided to make an Internet imaging device perform the view level restriction for the Internet multimedia. CONSTITUTION: An Internet site server(11) provides/adds the view level information to an IP(Internet Protocol) address of an Internet site. A DNS(Domain Name System)(12) maps the IP address provided from the Internet site server and a domain name of the Internet site. The Internet imaging device decides a view level of the Internet site by receiving the IP address according to the domain name of the selected from a user and extracting the level information, and blocks the image and the sound provided from the Internet site depending on the judged view level. The Internet imaging device includes a database receiver(21), a level information extractor(22), an image/sound processor(24), an image/sound output part(23), and a controller(25).
