PURPOSE: A kimchi refrigerator containing a closet is provided, thereby storing small products, selectively employing the door position, reducing the power consumption of the refrigerator, and effectively employing the area within the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: The kimchi refrigerator comprises a body(10); an upper kimchi storage chamber(30) with a door(20) in its upper part; a mechanic chamber(50); an evaporation pipe(32); and a closet(40) under the upper kimchi storage chamber(30) which is separated from a cooling device using an insulating material(31), wherein the closet(40) has a drawer type door(41) which is opened and closed at both left and right sides of the kimchi refrigerator, so that the opening direction of the door(41) can be selectable according to the position of the kimchi refrigerator.
