PURPOSE: A power transmission device of a vehicle is provided to properly transmit large drive torque to wheels by installing a decelerating unit, and selectively increasing the reduction ratio between a differential and a drive shaft. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission device of a vehicle comprises a differential connected to an output shaft of a transmission, to distribute torque output from the transmission according to the load of right and left driving wheels; a drive shaft(60) installed between the differential and the right and left driving wheels, to transmit the torque distributed from the differential to the right and left driving wheels; and a decelerating unit(70) installed between the drive shaft and the differential, to selectively decelerate the torque distributed from the differential.
