PURPOSE: A short message access method in a DBDM(Dual Band Dual Mode) is provided to allow a user to easily access an SMS message service center. CONSTITUTION: A terminal user presses '*88' or '*23'(101). The terminal checks a mode according to the inputted connection number(102). If the mode is a CDMA mode, it is determined whether '*88' has been pressed(103). If '*88' has been pressed, a CDMA SMS message service center is accessed(104). If the mode is a GSM(Global Systems for Mobile communication)/WCDMA mode(102), an access number of the SMS message service center is read(105) and it is determined whether the read number is identical to an access number of the SMS message service center(106). If the read number is identical to an access number of the SMS message service center, a GSM/WCDMA SMS message service center is accessed(107). |
