PURPOSE: An apparatus for adjusting a gap between rolling mill housing and rolling roll chocks in rolling mill is provided to prevent camber generated due to skewness of rolling product and reduce wear and life cycle reduction of parts by accurately maintaining a gap between the roll chocks and the housing during rolling. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for adjusting a gap between rolling mill housing(115) and rolling roll chocks in a strip rolling mill, the apparatus comprises a hydraulic actuator(10) which is fixed to the outer surface of the rolling mill housing, and rod of which is extended to an inner space(20) formed in a horizontal direction of the housing; a pusher(14) which is moved back and forth along the inner space with being integrally connected to the rod, and on one side of which inclination planes(22) are formed; a moving plate(35) on which inclination planes(37) are arranged with being oppositely directed to the inclination planes(22) of the pusher, and the opposite side of the inclination planes(37) of which is arranged with being directed to a side of the roll chocks from a side of the rolling mill housing; fixed plates(40) assembled into the rolling mill housing by bolts(42) along the edge of the moving plate to maintain the moving plate to a side of the inner space of the rolling mill housing; and elastic means(50) interposed between the moving plate and the fixed plates to elastically support the moving plate so that the inclination planes(37) of the moving plate always touch the inclination planes(22) of the pusher.
