PURPOSE: Provided are a packaged boiled rice mass and a packaging method of the boiled rice, in which after the boiled rice mass is laid on a sheet, the sheet is formed in a packet. CONSTITUTION: A boiled rice mass(60) is packaged by a packing sheet(1) having a gusset(2). The boiled rice mass is laid on the packing sheet(1) having a tear-off portion along the entire length, and the packing sheet is folded in a shape of packet. Overlapped portions formed by edges of the packing sheet(1) are adhered to form the packing sheet for the boiled rice mass. The tear-off portion of the packing sheet is enclosed along a maximum circumference of the boiled rice mass. The tear-off portion is detached from the packing sheet(1) in a shape of strip by pulling a tear-off start portion.
