PURPOSE: A brake lamp switch device is provided to prevent water from flowing into clearance of wire-passing parts and a connecting unit and improve switch performance by restricting corrosion of the switch to the inflow of water and completely covering to the middle part of an air passage unit body with silicon to prevent inflow of the water into a switch contacting unit, an air vent unit, a passage unit, and the switch connecting unit. CONSTITUTION: A brake lamp switch device(1) including a wire and a body having an air passage, a switch contacting unit(2) operated by air, and an air bent unit(4) in braking a vehicle includes a silicon structure(12) for completely covering a switch unit having the air bent unit combined to the air passage unit and the switch contacting unit connected with the wire. The silicon structure is filled in the brake lamp switch device except for the air vent unit. A tube(14) of which the front end is deflected by self weight with extending outward at the constant length is mounted to the air vent unit of the silicon structure.
