PURPOSE: An apparatus for guiding admission of slab is provided which is installed at guides for guiding slab transferred through roller table of rolling mill to guide the slab so that the slab transferred is smoothly advanced into the guides. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises guiding panels(210) rotated to advance the slab into the guides with the guiding panels being hinge connected to a front part of guides(120) respectively installed at both sides of roller table; guiding panel guides inserted into the guiding panels in such a way that an end part of the guiding panels rotated is slidingly moved with the guiding panel guides being respectively arranged at both ends of the roller table; and bases(230) for fixing the guiding panel guides to both ends of the roller table, wherein the guiding panel guides comprise upper and lower flanges horizontally formed with being directed to the center of the roller table in upper and lower parts of the main body; slots(222) respectively formed on the upper and lower flanges; a pair of inserting parts(225) projectingly formed at both sides of an upper part of the upper flange; and a plural inserting bolts(226) integrally projectingly formed on the rear side of the main body, and wherein the bases comprise a resting part to which the guiding panel guides are closely adhered; a receiving groove(233) formed on the bottom(232) of the resting part; and through holes(235) formed on the front side(234) of the resting part.
