摘要 PURPOSE: An optical disk non-Cartesian coordinate system generating method and an optical disk of the coordinate system thereof are provided to select more than one uniform distance as well as plural positions on an optical disk, so that each position can be separated from adjacent positions by one of the uniform distances, consequently a specified position can be realized on the disk with the same precision by at least one integral coordinate. CONSTITUTION: More than one uniform distance is selected(602). Each position is separated from adjacent positions as many as one of the uniform distances, and plural positions are selected on an optical disk such that a specified position can be realized on the optical disk with the same precision by at least one integral coordinate(604). When selecting more than the one uniform distance, the uniform distance where an optical beam is smaller than or equal to a diameter of a mark recorded on the optical disk is selected.
