The limiter has a principal line (20) with an entry (21) to receive a microwave signal. A circuit detector (30) generates at its exit (32) a current equaling to power of the signal applied to its entry (31). The detector polarizes diodes of a limitation stage (23) with the generated current. A polarization entry (38) receives an external polarization current to polarize the diodes with the polarization current.
