Herein is described a reusable absorbent article (1) which comprises a reusable member (10) provided with a support (20) which is impermeable to liquids and that houses an absorbent member (30) of disposable liquids, characterized because the impermeable support (20) comprises a bottom section (25), which possesses ends (25), which possesses ends (26) in which seams (27) are disposed to sew the impermeable support to the reusable member (10) avoiding with this the impermeable support (20) to move and can cause a leak. Walls (28), formed by means of a fold in the end (26) extending perpendicularly. The walls (28), at their distant ends (32) possess separation means (29) to favor the walls (28) to extend to the user's body and keep a straightened and perpendicular position in relation to the bottom (25) and to the reusable member (10). Intersections (31) where the walls (28) cross at the ends of the impermeable support (20), said intersection (31) results in a mean to confine safely the disposable absorbent cartridge (30) within the walls (28); optionally the cartridge (30) includes adhesive fixing means to join adhesively with the support (20) avoiding with this the displacement from the impermeable support (20), even when the user is in movement. The reusable member (10) is made with a breathable material; this means that it allows the air flow through the same, thus keeping the user's skin dry.
