PURPOSE: A reinforcing and attaching structure of a transmission mounting bracket is provided to improve N.V.H(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) performance of a vehicle by cutting off the vibration of the transmission with a rubber insulator, and to reduce the number of operation processes by connecting a chassis cross member and the transmission mounting bracket at the same time. CONSTITUTION: In a front wheel-drive transverse mounting-engine vehicle for mounting an engine to the transverse direction of a vehicle body, a reinforcing and attaching structure of a transmission mounting bracket(20) is composed of a front side member(10) and a connecting member(30). The front side member includes the transmission mounting bracket attached on the upside and a plurality of inserting holes arranged on the upper and lower sides. The semi-arc shaped connecting member comprises a bent unit and a connecting bar(32) inserted with the inserting holes and fixed to the upper end settled to the lower side of the front side member by welding, and the lower end of the connecting member is combined to a chassis cross member(40).
