The rotating swash plate (12') and non-rotating swash plate (14') are such that at least one of the two plates comprises a modular connecting fitting assembly (46,42) ensuring the connections of the swash plates with the pitch rods (6) and/or a driving part or with the pilot control parts (17) and/or with a retaining part. These fittings are rigidly fixed in a removable way on an annular part such as one of the bushes (30') of the bearing (21') on the corresponding plate.
