PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a shoe containing medicinal materials is provided to emit far infrared rays and fragrance that are effective to promote a healthy metabolism of a shoe wearer. CONSTITUTION: The medicinal materials for use in a shoe are prepared by saccharification process, fermentation process using acetic acid or lactic acid, boiling to obtain extracts, stir frying, or pulverizing. The medicinal materials include enzymes for diet, far infrared ray emitting materials, and fragrant herbs. The enzymes for diet include all kinds of cereals, fruits and vegetables, medicinal herbs, aquatic plants, and minerals. Preferably, the shoe is deposited in the medicinal materials at different ranges of temperature for at least one day and is dried. Natural materials of the shoe are parched and boiled, and then they are mixed with medicinal material powder.
