The sound modulation system has a snare on the side of the percussion instrument internal face. It comprises a pushbutton (2) located on the side of the instrument internal face in a bottom position connected to a connecting system (4b) enabling either to echo the effect applied on the push button by tension means or indirectly exerting a pressure on the snare. One or more levers (3) are fixed to the frame (1). Each lever is independently articulated on a connecting system (4a) enabling either the echoing of the effect applied on the levers by the tension means or indirectly exerting a pressure on the snare.
