PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore original transmission signals at the receive side in a millimeter-wave band transceiver system for transmitting/receiving the transmission signals up-converted to a millimeter-wave band, without transmitting frequency converting local oscillation signals from the transmit side or executing the double detection at the receive side. SOLUTION: The millimeter-wave band transceiver system is composed of a transmitter 30 for wirelessly transmitting BS/CS-IF signals up-converted to a millimeter-wave band anda receiver 50 for receiving the transmitted radio waves thereof to down-convert them, thereby restoring the BS/CS-IF signals. The transmitter 30 wirelessly transmits up-converted pilot signals, together with the BS/CS-IF signals and transmits the pilot signals to the receiver 50 over an existing transmission line. The receiver 50 controls the frequency of the local oscillation signal to be used for the down-conversion so that the frequency of the down-converted pilot signal is equal to that of the pilot signal received over the existing line.
