PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode ray tube display apparatus capable of enhancing the image quality of a video image displayed on a cathode ray tube and surely preventing a spot from being left. SOLUTION: The cathode ray tube display apparatus is provided with: a video signal amplifier circuit 10 for amplifying a video signal outputted to a cathode ray tube 17; and a remaining spot preventing circuit 12 for preventing a spot from being left on the cathode ray tube 17 after cutting the power. The spot preventing circuit 12 is separated from the video signal amplifier circuit 10 except part of the circuit connected to an emitter terminal 1e of a first transistor 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
