PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine inducing apoptosis of synovial cells causing abnormal proliferation or the like to suppress the abnormal proliferation. SOLUTION: The apoptosis-inducing agent of the synovial cells contains a diterpene compound represented by formula (1) or (2) (wherein, R1is an oxygen atom or a hydroxy group; and R2is a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy group) as an active ingredient.
