PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a soap to be stored for a long period of time in a superior state in consideration of a cause of existence of oxygen or wet moisture in the air which produces resolution, oxidization, decoloration and deterioration in quality at the soap surface when the soap manufactured through a cold process is stored under an breathable state. SOLUTION: A method for packaging and storing a soap of the present invention is carried out such that the soap manufactured through a cold process is stored in a plastic container and packaged in vacuum and both moisture and oxygen in the air are shielded against the soap.
