PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively absorb sound without providing a space for sound insulation separately in a sound absorbing structure for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A space 24 having an acute angle in cross section in a view from the vehicle side direction is formed between a lower part of a dash panel 20 and an engine under cover 22. Sound absorbing material 40 is provided in the space 24 where sound generated in an engine room 16 tends to concentrate in such a manner as covering whole corner parts. With this structure, the sound absorbing material 40 absorbs sound concentrating to the space 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
