PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for an automobile and its mounting structure to lower manufacturing cost and to enable easier drainage of infiltrated water inside a mounting base part to the outside of a vehicle. SOLUTION: End parts of extrusion molded bodies 14 composed of the mounting base part 22 having a roughly U-shaped cross section and a seal part protruded from the mounting base part 22 are connected with each other through a molded part, and a flange holding lip is provided on an inside face of the mounting base part 22. The flange holding lip 24 positioned on an out-of-vehicle side O and on the end part side in a longitudinal direction of the extrusion molded body 14 is tilted to the side U corresponding to the downside of the vehicle. The molded part 12 is molded in a state of being overlapped on the inside face 22a of the mounting base part 22, and a drainage ditch 70 is formed on the inside face 22a on the out-of-vehicle side of both inside faces of the mounting base part 22 provided to the molded part 12.
