PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the final configuration of an injection molded article at a higher speed. SOLUTION: After a resin is filled in a cavity of a mold, calculation is executed to evaluate the resin how its contact state develops as the resin temperature in the cavity decreases. Then, the temperature distribution in taking out the resin molded product from the mold is calculated based on the contact state calculated preliminarily and the heat transfer coefficient in the contact state. Finally, a final configuration of the resin molded article, when taken out of the mold and cooled down to a normal temperature, is evaluated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
