Method of managing graphic data and link information thereof for a recording medium

A method of managing graphic data for a high-density optical disk is disclosed. High-resolution graphic images associated with a main video image recorded on the high-density optical disk are recorded on the optical disk along with link information to link the graphic images to respective main video images in a file structure suitable for the optical disk. The method allows an efficient management of the graphic images and navigation information and provides various ways of overlaying the graphic images on the associated main video image.
