<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head system which can perform successful recording and reproducing of a plurality of kinds of optical recording media, and an optical information recording/reproducing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The light from a semiconductor laser of a wavelength 650 nm within an optical system 1b is focused on an optical disk 4b of DVD (Digital Versatile Disk) standards by an objective lens 3a and the reflected light from the optical disk 4b is received by a photodetector within the optical system 1b. Also, the light from a semiconductor laser of a wavelength 780 nm within an optical system 1c is focused on an optical disk 4c of CD (Compact Disk) standards by the objective lens 3a and the reflected light from the optical disk 4c is received by a photodetector within the optical system 1c. The objective lens 3a is so installed that the direction of the comatic aberration caused by the decenter and tilt between faces is aligned to the tangent direction or radial direction of the optical disks 4b and 4c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
