<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas piping blocking member and a gas piping connecting member which can prevent a gas from leaking upon a fire. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe line blocking member 7 has a tube shape thermal expansion packing 9 which is installed on a joint body 41 of a gas pipe line and has fire resistance and a retaining member 8 which is at least in contact with the inner circumferential face of the thermal expansion packing 9 and whose one end side is deformed in a direction to block the pipe line when the thermal expansion packing 9 is heated and the other end side is supported by the pipe line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
