<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonly use circuits and components by establishing compatibility between an ordinary functions and a TV telephone function, while avoiding wasteful power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This information terminal is provided with a screen-generating section 1 for generating screen data for voice communication or e-mails, a TV telephone processing section 2 for generating and processing image data for a TV telephone, a display path switching circuit 4 for receiving either image data from the section 1 or image data from the section 2 and output the data, while switching, and a display unit 3 for receiving screen data or image data outputted from the circuit 4 and display the received data so that the data are visually recognizable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
