<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming apparatus in which the production of fuel portion is increased in the reforming of hydrocarbon-based fuel to obtain hydrogen. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel reforming apparatus is provided with a solid oxide electrolyte membrane 14 through which oxygen ion O is permeated from residual O<SB>2</SB>in a waste gas of a gas turbine and a catalyst 13 for reacting the fuel f (CH<SB>4</SB>+steam (s)) with oxygen ion O permeated through the solid oxide electrolyte membrane 14 to produce carbon monoxide and hydrogen and when hydrogen is obtained by reforming the hydrocarbon-based fuel, the production of the fuel portion is increased by the fuel reforming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
