<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell improved in supply of oxygen. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell, a hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution is brought into contact with a hydrogen peroxide decomposing catalyst, and generated oxygen and water vapor are supplied to a cathode. A required quantity of water can be approximated to a theoretical quantity as compared with a fuel cell with air humidified, so that the entire cell can be made light as compared with the fuel cell with air humidified. Since there is no need to use a strong, heavy vessel for storing pure oxygen, the cell can be made light still more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
