MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM, ITS RECORD REPRODUCING METHOD, AND REPRODUCING METHOD OF OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical recording medium and its record reproducing method by which information of multi-level recording can be reproduced by a mark edge system.

SOLUTION: In formation of multi-level recording is reproduced by a mark edge system using an magneto-optical recording medium having a plurality of magnetic layers whose Curie temperature difference is 10∼100°C. Each magnetic layer is irradiated with the light whose intensity is different. A magnetic layer is caused by laser power in which reversal of magnetization is selected, multi-level recording is realized by combination of reversal of magnetization of the plurality of recording layers. When recorded multi-level data is reproduced, a binary code obtained from a reproduced signal of some time and multi-level information of a time immediately before are logically operated, and multi-level information is reproduced from the reproduced signal detected the some time.
