COMMON INTERFACE FOR INK TREE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate various ink elements from its element group when information with handwriting electronic ink is displayed on a screen.

SOLUTION: A system, method and data structure enabling the operation of a function are described in a designated node or sub-node. An instruction for designating one or more nodes is processed to execute the function for each of nodes. When the instruction cannot be executed in the present node, the data structure related to the present node is guided to acquire one or more sub-nodes. The instruction is executed relative to the sub-node.
