PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor simple in design and capable of largely reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This 2-compartment anchor for fixing a device (having a fastener) to a structure comprises a first compartment having a first bore similar to that of a nut adopted to form a mechanical interlock with the fastener and a second sled-like bore. A second compartment fixes the first compartment to the structure. The second compartment comprises a first sled-like portion capable of being fixed to the first compartment by the mechanical interlock with the second bore and a second sled-like portion for fixing the second compartment to the structure.
