PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical value detector for a battery pack high in reliability and suitable for a vehicle system that is reduced in cost. SOLUTION: The physical value detector 71 arranged in the vicinity of the battery pack mounted at the rear of a vehicle converts to serial signals S a plurality of physical values (battery temperatures T1 to Tn, battery voltages V1 to Vm, and a battery current I) which are detected by a multiplexer 713 and inputted in parallel, and successively transmits them to a vehicle ECU 12 that is arranged in front of the vehicle apart from the battery pack by a single transmission means 20.
