PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed product of a fiber, making not only powder-keeping function, properties for facilitating handling when mixing materials, and properties for preventing uneven distribution of materials in a molded product, but also various kinds of characteristics such as heat resistance and strength good in an application for mixing the phenol resin-based fiber with other materials having shapes such as a powder, and molding the mixture. SOLUTION: The processed product of the phenol resin-based fiber, having the powder-keeping function, the properties for facilitating the handling when mixing the materials, and the properties for preventing the uneven distribution of the materials in the molded product is obtained by using highly crimped phenol resin-based fiber bundles as a main skeleton, partially bonding the fiber bundles to each other with a phenolic resin, and forming the main skeleton into an aggregate by irregularly bonding many phenol resin-based fibers to the main skeleton with the phenolic resin.
