PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-winding watch, where an adjusting apparatus for adjusting a balance with hairspring is efficiently arranged in a movement and a thin and compact movement is provided. SOLUTION: The self-winding watch comprises a main plate 102; a time display wheel 324; a winding stem 110; and a switching apparatus. A movement barrel 120 is arranged on the front side of the main plate while overlapping with a main plate reference horizontal axis 308 between first and fourth regions 301 and 304. The balance 140 with hairspring is arranged on the front side of the main plate while overlapping with a main plate reference horizontal axis 308 between second and third regions 302 and 303. The switching apparatus is arranged on the rear side of the main plate. The adjusting apparatus 470 passes through the main plate and includes an adjusting portion 470b for adjusting the balance 140 with hairspring. A portion where the adjusting portion of the adjusting apparatus adjusts the balance with hairspring exists within the second region 302, and the rotation center of the adjusting apparatus 470 within the second region 302.
