PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve having a structure which can make securing of foreign matter resistance and valve sealing performance compatible by an inexpensive method. SOLUTION: The vertical solenoid valve 20 is provided with a valve housing having a flow passage through which a fluid flows and passes, a valve body 1 to open and close the flow passage, a shaft 2 connected to the valve body on the lower end part side and capable of moving the valve body, and an electromagnet part 22 engaged with the shaft on the upper end part side and capable of driving and moving the shaft. The solenoid valve is characterized in that it is further provided with a bearing 7 to support the lower end part of the shaft, accordingly, the shaft is supported at both sides. Also, the solenoid valve is further provided with a plunger 11, which is connected to the shaft, and a liner 12, which guides the plunger for moving, at the electromagnet part. The plunger is supported by the liner. As a result, the support on the upper side of the shaft is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
