PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for uniting plate-like members not susceptible to relative rotation of two plate-like members and thereby to firmly unite the plate-like members. SOLUTION: A non-circular hole 3 is perforated into a plate-like bimetal (first member) 1, and a lower hole 2a smaller than the hole 3 is perforated into a plate-like conductive board (second member) 2. By burring the lower hole 2a from below, a countersink 4 projecting upward is formed. Next, the bimetal 1 is overlapped with the conductive plate 2, burring of the hole 4a of the countersink 4 is performed from below while press-fitting the countersink 4 into the hole 3 to make a surface of the countersink 4 be engaged with an end face of the hole 3 without clearance. After projecting the tip part of the countersink 4 on an upper face of the bimetal 1, spinning of the tip part of the countersink 4 is performed and the tip part is bent to the outside and holding a peripheral part of the hole 3, so as to unite the bimetal 1 with the conductive board 2.
