PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify an existing facility, which discriminates, adjusts an appropriate quantity of discharged water and saves water according to a user's sex, age and use in consideration to a usage custom and in particular to the user's feelings, with an easy work at a low price, so that a great effect is expected not only at the time of water shortage but also in a municipal water supply plan of expansion, renewal of facilities or the like as well as in economical, environmental and resource aspects. SOLUTION: The water saving device is composed in such a way as a drainage hole is provided at the bottom of a water storage tank and a main drainage valve and a water-overflow pipe with a T-type branch pipe at its lower part are unified to connect to the drainage hole. Furthermore, in the water-overflow pipe a secondary drainage valve is supported by a connecting frame with an adjuster so that water is drained through a flexible pipe and the T-type branch pipe. Also, the secondary drainage pipe slides along the water-overflow pipe by means of the connecting frame with the adjuster to adjust the quantity of water-supply and is composed mainly of an operating mechanism for the secondary drainage valve including "a chain, a pole and a handle" and a faucet with a discharging opening to control the drainage quantity in multiple stages.
