PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sequence program formation device facilitating the formation and editing of a sequence program. SOLUTION: In the formation and editing of a sequence program, the position, kind, and signal name of a device are inputted (100-102). An address display attribute according to the kind of address is set (104 and 105). The symbol and name of a corresponding device on the displayed sequence program (ladder program) are displayed by the color of its display attribute (106). The set position, kind, name, and address display attribute of the device are stored in a memory (107). When a signal address assignment display screen is read out, this device information stored in the memory is read, and each piece of the device information (number, name, inputted address) is color-coded and listed on the basis of the set and stored address display attribute.
