PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification device for contaminated soil capable of controlling such that a temperature of exhaust gas of a purification drier is in a predetermined temperature area, a volatile contaminated substance deposited on a dust in the exhaust gas is evaporated/separated as much as possibly by heating it to its boiling point or higher and thus a contamination concentration due to the recovered dust is reduced. SOLUTION: A by-pass pipe 16 is connected to a burner 7 side of the purification drier 1 and the other end of the by-pass pipe 16 is connected to an exhaust gas flue 9 on the downstream of the purification drier 1. An air amount adjustment damper 18 is disposed on a midway of the by-pass pipe 16. If the temperature of the exhaust gas becomes lower than a predetermined value, the air amount adjustment damper 18 is opened and hot air of high temperature is introduced into the exhaust gas flue 9 to make confluence with the exhaust gas to maintain the temperature of the exhaust gas to the predetermined temperature area. The volatile contaminated substance on the dust is evaporated/separated by maintaining the temperature of the exhaust gas to the boiling point or higher of the volatile contaminated substance and the contamination concentration due to the dust captured by a dust-collector 10 is reduced.
