PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of incineration ash which can improve a ratio of recycling as a resource such as a cement raw material by efficiently removing chlorine components from the incineration ash produced in a waste incinerator. SOLUTION: Incineration main ash discharged from the waste incinerator 1 is charged into a submersion pit 2 for the purpose of cooling and prevention of dust rising and then is conveyed by a conveyer 3 to a drum type sorting machine 4. In the drum type sorting machine 4, rough foreign matter contained in the incineration main ash is removed while sprinkling washing water. The incineration main ash together with sprinkled washing water is supplied to a spiral classifier 7 via a catchment dish 5 to separate salt water in which soluble salts such as NaCl and KCl are dissolved from the incineration main ash. Then the incineration main ash is conveyed from the spiral classifier 7 to a temporarily storing facility 9, is housed therein and sprinkling treatment for a long period of time is performed therein.
