PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting toy making the connection of a connecting part hard to be detached, having a trunk part to be easily grasped by a user and facilitating the positioning of the connection part. SOLUTION: The trunk part 2 of this connecting toy 1 is provided with one side connected to base ends 5a and 6a of a pair of connecting arms 5 and 6 and the other side connected to the both ends 10a and 10b of the connecting shaft 10. Projections 8 and 9 are formed in tip ends 5b and 6b of the pair of connecting arms 5 and 6 and the interval between the projections 8 and 9 is made narrower than the shaft diameter of the connecting shaft 10. The connecting shaft 10 is formed into an approximately semicircular shape. The trunk part 2 is formed approximately flat and finger reset recesses 3a and 4a are formed on the flat surfaces 3 and 4. The connecting shaft 10 is provided with guide projections 11 and 12 regulating the movement of a pair of connecting arms 5 and 6 of the other connected toy 1. The projections 8 and 9 formed in the tips of the connecting arms 5 and 6 are formed with tapers 8a and 9a for facilitating the connection of the connecting shaft 19 of the other connecting toy 1.
