WEED GROWTH-SUPPRESSING AND MULCHING COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mulching technique excellent in weather resistance and water resistance, having high erosion preventing effect of a slope and capable of carrying out suppression of overgrowth of weeds in a farm land and uncultivated field, prevention of occurrence of flow out/muddy water of soil accompanying rainfall, and control of ground temperature. SOLUTION: A weed growth-suppressing and mulching material comprises slurry composed of 3-30 wt.% stoichiometric and non-stoichiometric magnesia cement containing soft-burned magnesia and 97-30 wt.% water as a main ingredient.
